Our Mission
CCW exists to foster a love of writing, encourage publication, and build a community where writers can learn, share, and grow together. As an all-volunteer organization, we connect members with the resources and information they need to pursue their publishing goals, while creating a welcoming space to gather, exchange ideas, and forge lasting friendships with fellow writers.
We serve storytellers of every kind, fiction and nonfiction writers, poets, and essayists, at every stage of their journey. Whether you are drafting your first piece or preparing to publish, CCW offers the support, community, and inspiration to help you find and share your voice.
Inspire
We nurture a safe space for writers to share work, receive honest feedback, and grow together, inspiring the next generation of writers along the way.
Our Guiding Principles
Educate
We are committed to the craft of writing, offering workshops, guest speakers, and other events that elevate every genre and every writer.

Connecting members with each other and with the resources, opportunities, and industry knowledge needed to thrive as writers.
