Who can join Central Colorado Writers?
Anyone with a passion for writing and storytelling is welcome! While we are rooted in Central Colorado, our community is open to writers everywhere; our membership stretches well beyond state lines. Whether you're a seasoned author, a curious newcomer, or someone simply looking for a creative outlet, there's a place for you here no matter your genre or experience level.
How much does it cost to join and what is the membership period?
Membership is a flat annual fee of $20 (twenty US dollars). The membership fee covers a full calendar year, from January 1st through December 31st. However, you may join at any time!
Are the events held in-person or online?
We offer a blend of both in-person and online options for our Workshops, Writer's Table Meetups, and other events. However, the Writing Critique Sessions and Board Meetings are held exclusively online.
How can I get involved in the Writing Critique Sessions?
Once you become a member, you can sign up for our Writing Critique Sessions, held twice a month online. These groups focus on providing constructive feedback in an environment where writers lift each other up and leave feeling inspired.
